The previous pictures above are from my high school senior graduation. A bittersweet day. Sad to leave the people I've been surrounded by for four years, but excited to move on to bigger and better things in life. I wore a Coral Sleeveless Ruched Dress from Topshop that fell off the shoulders, Topshop Bohemian Coral earrings, H&M Cuff, and LF wedges. Even though the summer has been slow I've been trying to keep myself occupied. For my college dorm room, I figured I'd put together a cork board consisting of all my favorite earrings. It took a long time, but it has made my collection neater, cleaner and more visible. It sits in my closet and makes matching and pairing the perfect outfit with the perfect earrings, effortless.

I've also decided now to revolve my blog around personal photo diary posts on fashion and style rather than spending time posting inspiration, editorial or lookbooks that I enjoy. Well, hello. It's been quite a while since I've blogged. I've been so busy with the ending to my senior year at high school that i've completely forgotten about my website! Well good news is I am taking a twist to try and bring myself back into the fashion blogging world. With only about twenty days left until I proudly will be attending The Fashion Institute of Technology for fashion design, I'm determined to keep up the heat with some more posts. I'm so overly excited to be residing in New York City with all the amazing opportunities it has to hold. As well as the best shopping, restaurants and night life known to the world. Previously i've been spending most of my summer back and forth from the suburbs of New York to Montreal to visit my boyfriend. It's such a beautiful city, and being there for the first time, I definitely had my all time extraordinary experience. Fine dining, french styled homes, streets and buildings, cirque du soleil, being legal to drink raspberry martinis, the shopping, and of course, the Musse Des Beaux where I was so excited to see the amazing Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit.

The clothes were just spectacular in every way, shape and form. I saw hard work and detail in every garment constructed, not only imagining if some one would wear this design, but the statement the design is portraying to its viewer and obtainer. I visited the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty which was utterly the most amazing and breathtaking exhibit i've ever seen. Even though the atmosphere of both exhibits were completely different. I waited three hours on line to see the McQueen exhibit in a very cramped crowded way rather then go straight in and spend as much time as I wanted studying Gaultier's designs. I simply just wished I could have seen the McQueen exhibit in that way, and really get a chance to idolize and praise the work McQueen has accomplished in a non rushed manor.

Savage Beauty really linked correctly to the vibe of the exhibits overall concept.

So i've been totally slacking on blogging for a bit. I meant to post this a week ago, but I was accepted to The Fashion Institute of Technology for Fashion Design! I am so overly excited I cannot even begin to describe. For such a selective major only consisting of 200 people world-wide, I am truly honored to be one of them. It's been a dream come true of mine to spend the next four years of my life here and to begin the next successful chapter of my life. I am so happy, words cannot even describe. Hard work and effort; as well as believing in myself truly payed off. I can't wait to live in New York City next year-fashion capital of the world!

This week has been a very odd week. Because of the amount of snow we are getting in the suburbs, I only had two days of school this week! But that's not just the best part! I was just recently accepted to Savannah College of Art and Design as well as The University of Rhode Island! How exciting and good does it feel to be in college already! This week I have some midterms and the rest off to relax, sleep and spend time with my family.

I know, I know. These outfits seem to be very repetitive, but in a sense Topshop is my all time favorite store, so therefore almost all of my clothing is from there. It's just the label that's the same, every other aspect of their garments are so remotely different, you can't always tell what's from where. I promise this is the last of my newest Topshop pieces. I absolutely love the sweater, it's not like anything I currently own and it does a primarily well job at keeping me warm for this snow blizzard we have! Also these shortened like combat booties are becoming essential to almost every outfit; they always match!

I apologize for the extreme awkwardness in the last photograph. I haven't really gotten back into doing outfit posts, but I feel like the blog overall is lacking some of my own personal style. This outfit is rather nothing special, just something I managed to throw together rushing to school. The boots are Vintage Doc Martens I got in a thrift store last spring, as for everything else just very plain and simple. (Most clothing pieces are from American Apparel or Forever 21) But the most exciting new article of clothing that I've gotten is this grey and black wool scarf from.... Target! I absolutely hate how some people knock Target for not being a very fashionable store because it is indeed. I find mostly all of my leggings, hats, gloves, t-shirts and socks from there and the quality is great and the prices are very cheap. I've been saving up a ton of money from babysitting and from my last paycheck to hopefully replenish a new winter wardrobe after the Christmas break, and for that... Topshop is calling my name.

I never realized how frightening the end of November can be. Proof is, I'm up at 1 am blogging. Where does time go? It's almost time to prepare for christmas; my mom is at it again with her outstanding passion for holiday decorating, the house is just admirable. The only thing missing is our first fall of snow. When that will be? No idea. November is also the month where I'm stressed to the max trying to whip up the rest of my portfolio in such a short amount of time. I spend a good amount of time writing essay after essay, application after the other... it's all very exciting yet overwhelming. To think that the New Year will be the start of a very relaxing but productive time period, is just something I'm most looking forward to. I apologize for lack of blogging abilities, I'm still reading, just not much time for actual blogging. Be back to my regular state soon!

Thanksgiving day is finally here! Time to spend with the family eating all the holiday favorites. Unfortunately since it's only us three we're dining at a beautiful restaurant upstate New York for some delicious fine dining. I hope they have my favorite; sweet potatoes with marsh! I'm thankful for my family, my friends and for being apart of something unique like fashion itself. It's exciting to celebrate that I have now applied to a bunch of schools for college and am almost finished!

Oh how weekends have been both hardworking, rewarding and lovely.

These photographs, most of them taken by me were from the past few weekends ago.

It's starting to get bitterly cold outside and all I'm longing for are beautiful patterned sweaters, like the one above from H&M. I borrowed my friend Lily's shoes for the day, she was so kind to let me wear them! They are beautiful!

I'm currently working on my F.I.T portfolio, it's such an enjoyable, exciting but nerve-wracking process. I just want to get in so badly!

Well it's been quite awhile! I have been very busy these first few weeks of school but everything has been great and opportunities are flowing straight off the table. The first few pictures are from a day trip to the hamptons with my beautiful (and should be model) friend Danny. We traveled the streets in search for unique clothing, sipped iced coffee, browsed through several art festivals and galleries and of course took tons of pictures! I recently volunteered on Fashion's Night Out for Teen Vogue and their annual bloc party. It was tons of fun and I'm extremely grateful to have been apart of it. That same weekend I attended the Chictopia10 Blogger event and I met so many nice bloggers! Including Liz from Late Afternoon. It was also a great experience! Can't wait for the rest of the year and what it will bring.

Well summer is surely coming to an end. Only two days left until senior year, as college applications, sats, acts and APs await. I spent most of the summer relaxing by the pool, trips to Brooklyn flea markets, sipping Arnold Palmers, american spirits, several concerts and expanding my taste in music.

It's been difficult to blog on a daily basis because i've just been so busy and I'm always going out!

Now that things are cooling down and time is more organized, Im ready to be back in blogging mode.

Fashion week is next week, where I'm hopefully working for teen vogue on fashion's night out as I'm also for the second year attending the Chictopia10 event on Sunday.

I just love everything about the fall, but I will get more into that later. x

i'm back from my six week summer at the RISD pre college. i got heavy loads of work and no sleep but i managed to make wonderful new friends and learn a lot. these are just some of the many photos taken while i was away. my birthday just recently passed and my parents got me the new coral YSL arty oval ring and i could not be any happier. while i was at risd the fashion design program had several projects so i thought i would post some of my latest work. the shoot for seventeen was amazing! it was at the famous MILK studios in the city. shot by fashion photographer Nicholas Routzen. i was definitely a tad bit nervous. when the hair stylist saw my hair, he didn't want to touch it! he said it was so nice, it was such a meaningful compliment! he also mentioned that if i cut it... i'm crazy. hahaha anyways my clothing selection for the shoot was very plain and simple and not very flattering :/ but we'll see if they choose my pictures for the august issue!

btw, this song? amazing. i play it at least ten times a day nbd.

the first few photos were taken awhile ago - part of the alice in wonderland themes post but this time i decided to dress up as the queen of hearts? it didn't work too well, i looked silly! i got invited to the Zac Posen pre-collection event from teen vogue earlier this week and decided to wait until friday to go... bad idea.. everything was sold out! so it was nice to stroll the city in complete pouring rain with michelle and alyssa from alyssaspeaksnonesense. terribly busy, only eight more weeks till summer!

so, the other day i think i got the most amazing e-mail ever. it was from Seventeen Magazine, telling me that i was CHOSEN to be a model for the magazine. i was shocked? but i'm so excited, it's absolutely a chance of a lifetime, and i can't wait till the shoot this wednesday! jfdkjggjdjg

I honestly don't know where they're from? It's possible that they are most likely from a bar mitzvah, oddly haha! finally able to post! i'm wearing a vintage beige mini dress, too short to wear without tights. lace bow from trim store and dolce vita pumps. i'm running really slowly on getting my alice in wonderland illustration project complete. i still have lots to do so it probably won't be done anytime soon. but i saw the movie!! it was amazing, i absolutely loved it and all the costume design. really astounding. i'm most likely seeing it again! i'm working for teen vogue tomorrow at their haute spot which i'm really excited about. you should definitely check out their website and read about it here. my winter formal was really fun! and for all who asked to see my dress, well here it is:

my winter break was incredibly uninteresting as i basically just sat home read magazines, stalked online fashion websites, hung out with friends, went snowboarding and walked in soho for some spring inspiration. i've been unhealthily counting down the days till march fifth when alice in wonderland comes out! i'm actually obsessed with the movie you have no idea. (i didn't pre order tickets or anything...) hehe, well basically during that stalking of fashion sites, i came across an editorial spread of an alice and wonderland photoshoot. i do not hesitate to post the photos, they are beautiful.

i wish i looked like tallulah morton. end of story.

it finally snowed, but the part that sucks is it snowed so bad i'm stuck inside and can't drive on the roads since they're so 'treacherous'. i have so much work this week it's crazy. good thing is that all the hard work is paying off since i received my report card in the mail yesterday! 93 gpa, so happy. can't wait for this week to be over and break to start even though i'm not really going anywhere. minus vermont for snowboarding and boston for college visits so i guess that kind of counts? i tried some new eye makeup a few days ago, and i REALLY need to take down my tree.... it's like february.

it's amazing how bitter it's outside. i'm almost starting to despise walking out my front door every morning to catch a bus to school. it snowed this week, wish it was spring. the outdoors are beautiful to take pictures, i hardly can wait six weeks for winter to end. this h&m blouse is kind of old, but i don't think i've ever done a post with it! anyways, next weekend will be wonderful since i'm attending the fabulous chictopia10 event as well as february break!

i know, i know. it's not very much of an "outfit" post, but i had to show off these new rings i got. (from forever 21.) they're beautiful and only were about three dollars a piece! i'm in deep need of rest, it's easy to see. third quarter, second semester. thought it would get easier, but things only got tougher. i was really impressed with the australian vogue issue, the pictures were fabulous; abby lee looks wonderful. for the remainder of the week i'm quite busy. i'll do another post this weekend

my favorite nail polish color ever. mint candy apple. sorry i PROMISE this is the last of me posting only once a week! exams are finally over. done. so happy! i just wanted to say, thank you all so much for your wonderful comments towards my illustrations! they really mean a lot! for those who asked, yes i am considering a career in fashion design / fashion journalism or something like that but as of now, i'm still currently a junior in high school. i visited Parsons the New School for Design on friday and i was in love with it. so it's definitely a consideration. it was 16 degrees out tonight! so redic, i'm ready for spring. these are just a few shots with my friend nicole, enjoy! i'll be responding to all your lovely comments tomorrow. still so excited for chictopia10!

sorry, i have not been consistent with my posting. so, i guess i'm starting to understand why they address junior year as the most "laborious" of all high school. with midterms next week, it's going to be extremely difficult to do clothing post, so i'll most likely be posting inspiration pictures. i'm extremely nervous for the three AP's i have coming up next week. for sure, these midterms will result in endless studying, long hours running at the gym, yoga to relieve stress and lots and lots of caffeine.i'll most likely be cruising to school in sweats with warm fuzzy moccasins.i've had my reading glasses since about sixth grade and they're chanel! i'll have to do a post with them soon as well.also, the chictopia10 event... anyone going to that? i'm going! possibly with a friend but i'm supper excited to meet tons of other bloggers!!
